Most studies in this area focus on the English language, while other languages, such as Arabic, are still in their early stage. Recently, research tend to develop question answering systems for Arabic Islamic texts, which may impose challenges due to Classical Arabic. In this paper, we use Simple Transformers Question Answering model with three Arabic pre-trained language models (AraBERT, CAMeL-BERT, ArabicBERT) for Qur'an Question Answering task using Qur'anic Reading Comprehension Dataset. The model is set to return five answers ranking from the best to worst based on their probability scores according to the task details. Our experiments with development set shows that AraBERT V0.2 model outperformed the other Arabic pre-trained models. عضو هیئت علمی دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد بیان کرد: آنچه تاکنون در قالب استفاده از رایانه و نرم‌افزارها در عرصه مطالعات قرآنی وجود داشت بر دو عنصر سرعت و دقت استوار بود. حدود ۱۲۰۰ نرم‌افزار قرآنی که امروز وجود دارد و پژوهش‌های قرآنی بدون آنها تقریباً ناممکن است، براساس همین مبنا کار می‌کنند.

وی در خصوص کاربردهای هوش مصنوعی در عرصه مطالعات قرآنی، بیان کرد: در وهله نخست تحلیل معنای واژگان و آیات قرآن، تولید شبکه معنایی و نظام واژه‌ها و شبکه‌های معنایی قرآن، ترجمه ماشینی آیات، طراحی نظام ساختاری آیات و سور و ... است.عضو هیئت علمی دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد گفت: در گام بعدی، تفسیر عمومی و اختصاصی آیات متناسب با نیازهای مخاطبان، طراحی شبکه ارتباط قرآن و علوم اسلامی، انجام تفسیر اجتهادی و زمان‌شناسانه قرآن، کمک به رفع برخی ابهام‌ها درباره تاریخ قرآن، تحلیل تطور تاریخی قرائت و کتابت، تحلیل بینا متنیت آیات و... از جمله انتظاراتی است که می‌توان از توسعه هوش مصنوعی در عرصه مطالعات قرآنی داشت.
