"abstractNote": "Following the outbreak of COVID-19 and the need to follow health protocols based on the World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines, most teachers and researchers started conducting teaching and research activities at their “home office”. Meanwhile, these professionals began to develop their activities in an often-improvised workspace - many of them have also been caring for their children and doing household chores. We have even observed a decline in student performance with remote teaching, as class duration reduced and students lacked access to laboratories for practical classes. In our view, if the Brazilian government does not invest in improving the quality of remote education and internet access for the population amid the ongoing pandemic, an increasing number of teachers and researchers will develop irreversible health problems due to the precariousness of remote teaching and work.",

The specific objective was to analyze the images found in the book Caminho Suave, widespread in the city of Uberlândia and especially in the state of Minas Gerais, in the period from 1936 to 1960. For many alfabetizadoras (teachers) images are essential elements needed only to the cognitive development of the student with respect to the process of literacy. As soon as it is considered for the achievement of this work using images and oral sources, we must have clear that these sources put us face to face with a \"memory\" and the various possibilities that they can bring us to \"we read the past\". This research composes a search custody rain developed by NEIAPE and NEPHE, both nuclei search of the Faculty of Education, Federal University of Uberlândia. These two areas were of great importance to beat this study because it helped that we could produce analyses, reflections and understand the importance and relevance of visual messages that appeared in the printed textbooks, literacy, specifically in the book Caminho Suave.",

Methodology uses as the relevant literature tothe subject and discusses the implications of these methods for the emergence of Triangular Proposal for the teaching of art, leading theoretical and methodological changes in this school. The reflections built according to the theories that underlie this study provided important notes about the topic covered in this work, contributing to the educational debate on the subject.",

"abstractNote": "The objective of this paper is to present results of a qualitative research of the Graduate Program in Education at the Federal University of Mato Grosso on pedagogical practices and conceptions about art. For this text, we will direct our view to the conceptions about art developed by an art teacher, with a group of Young and Adults Education in Cuiaba, Mato Grosso, in the intention of uncovering conceptions that underlie her practice in her teaching. For the art teacher, art is not only an expression of feelings: it is knowledge, it is expression, it is human creation. During her classes, we verified that she that she sought to apply these concepts to young and adults students through written and visual texts. The reading is highlighted by the teacher to say that art is important for young people and adults due to the fact it enables an expansion of their reading universe about the world, taking in the art as an important mediator for this process. Consequently, the art works can enable different interpretations of reality. A good teaching job in art requires a good art teacher. Good practice requires good teachers, to stimulate the student's aesthetic development, his creative and expressive side, that fosters thinking. The teacher must be an important mediator in the construction of knowledge process, and may seek to use appropriate methodologies, that are actually able to contemplate the process of teaching and learning of that student.",

We discuss historical aspects of the emergence of youngsters and adults education in Brazil and Mato Grosso state, with the intention of contextualizing historically this research, in addition to reflections on relations between art and society, which is understood as human\nknowledge, aesthetic object and artistic, due to the social and historical process of humanity. It is evident in the speech of students in youngsters and adults education that\nmost left school due to the necessity of working, leading to truancy, which is a serious problem for Brazilian education. In addition, the contents of arts in youngsters and adults\neducation should contribute to the preparation and greater integration of these students into the labor market and also as critical and active participants in society, to understand that knowledge is socially constructed during learning in art and in constant contact with the artistic demonstrations, with the teacher and school important mediators in this process.",

"abstractNote": "This article presents the results of a Master´s study conducted at the Graduate Program in Education of Universidade Federal do Mato Grosso, which sought to understand how educational practices occur in the teaching of art in Youth and Adult Education in Cuiabá city, Mato Grosso state, Brazil, using qualitative, descriptive and interpretative methodology. Conceiving teaching in a constructivist perspective, based on the triangular proposal for the teaching of art, which emphasizes actual doing, reading and contextualization during the classes, we observed how the teacher acted as a mediator in the construction of the knowledge of Art. Such knowledge is important as education is grounded on the construction of knowledge, which is actually achieved by human activity and, in this case, art. Although some young and adult students had concepts of art that needed to be expanded, the teacher sought, through the contact with the different artistic expressions, to lead students to develop the concept that art is a human production, that is, an object of knowledge which has been an integral part of life since the dawn of mankind. She also sought to teach that learning how to read, how to understand a work of art, makes the students become competent readers who can produce meaningful interpretations of the world around them. Therefore, the concepts and practices of art produced by the students are important, as they are constructions of knowledge based on their life experiences.",
