Diverse groups argue about the potential benefits and costs of analyzing genetic sequences, social media interactions, health records, phone logs, government records, and other digital traces left by people. Significant questions emerge. Will large-scale search data help us create better tools, services, and public goods? Or will it usher in a new wave of privacy incursions and invasive marketing? Will data analytics help us understand online communities and political movements? Or will it be used to track protesters and suppress speech? Will it transform how we study human communication and culture, or narrow the palette of research options and alter what ‘research’ means? Given the rise of Big Data as a socio-technical phenomenon, we argue that it is necessary to critically interrogate its assumptions and biases. Amb tots els canvis que hi ha des de el Pla Bolonya, he pensat que aquest article ens fa entendra, gràcies als gràfics i el text explicatiu, com està el mercat laboral per les noves titulacions relacionades amb la informació i la documentació.

Primer he buscat informació a Google i un cop he trobat aquest article, que està dins de la Informació de les 11es Jornades Catalanes d'informació i Documentació, he trobat  que estaba citat amb un treball  de títol:

Justifico aquest recurs perquè s’adequa al tema \u2028”Ús de les xarxes socials a les Biblioteques públiques de Catalunya” degut a que és una primera eina per situar les biblioteques. A més, el recurs permet obtenir un llistat excel de totes les biblioteques i d’informació de contacte bàsic.

Estratègia. He pensat per on començar? M'he adonat que desconec el nombre de biblioteques on començar a investigar: ens calia un llistat de biblioteques, i he decidit busca'l.

Eina emprada. Per trobar aquest recurs he fet servir el cercador google.

Tècnica d'interrogació. Per interrogar a Google he escrit al buscador: cercador biblioteques públiques Catalunya. El recurs aportat és el primer resultat ofert per Google.

Justifico aquest recurs perquè s’adequa al tema de treball del nostre grup \u2028”Ús de les xarxes socials a les Biblioteques públiques de Catalunya” degut a que és una eina que ens permet descobrir quines xarxes socials empra cada biblioteca de la Diputació de Barcelona. A més, el recurs dona informació de contacte per poder començar la recerca.

Estratègia. Aquest recurs  ja el coneixia perquè, a la biblioteca on treballo, sóc qui actualitza la informació a la Biblioteca Virtual. Així que estava al corrent sobre la validesa de la informació que s’obté.

La justificació d’aquesta primera cerca és la següent:

\n

El tema del nostre projecte, OPEN DATA, és molt ampli, i després de fer una  cerca d’aproximació  a través dels motors de cerca més generalistes (google,..), he optat per centrar-me en el tema de la privacitat.

\n

Com que volia delimitar els resultats en articles de base científica i no tant en articles de divulgació periodística, he emprat el cercador Google però en la seva versió més especíalitzada en literatura científica i acadèmica, el Google Acadèmic.

\n

Un cop elegida l’eina de cerca, he volgut delimitar-la a partir de dos conceptes: Open data-privacitat. Per tal que la cerca fos més acurada, he posat entre cometes OPEN DATA perquè volia que ambdós paraules es trobessin en aquest ordre; acte seguit he  utilitzat l’operador booleà AND entre OPEN DATA i PRIVACITAT, ja que així garantia que els articles resultants contenien aquests dos conceptes. Per tant, la cerca ha estat així: “open data” AND privacitat.

\n

Un cop he disposat dels resultats, he fet una ullada a diversos resultats de la cerca en base al títol i al resum dels articles (dels quins n’oferien, clar), i quan n’he seleccionat 5 d’interessants, he aplicat criteris de verificació per garantir un bon resultat.

\n

De la pàgina seleccionada, he vist, primer de tot, que la filiació i autoritat provenia d’una publicació d’un organisme oficial, l’ajuntament de Barcelona. L’autoria de l’article també em generava credibilitat ja que es tracta d’un dels impulsors de l’OPEN DATA de la mateixa institució, l’ ajuntament de Barcelona. El fet que l’article estigui emmarcat dins d’un organisme públic també fa fiable que el propòsit del mateix es purament científic i que no està subjecte a interessos o motivacions privades.
