            "abstractNote": "La urbanización turística tiende a responder a una práctica urbana singular, funcional y estructuralmente diferenciada de la ciudad convencional. La crisis económica de 2008 y las políticas de ajuste económico han afectado a esos enclaves, tanto en su función de destinos turísticos como por su carácter de espacios urbanos. Por diferentes causas, muchos de ellos pasan a formar parte de los nuevos espacios degradados de la ciudad. El objetivo de este trabajo es estudiar la evolución de las políticas urbanas que afectan a los núcleos turísticos, concluyendo en aquellas fraguadas en el contexto de la crisis económica. El artículo se introduce con un análisis sobre precariedad urbana y urbanización turística. A continuación se estudian políticas urbanoturísticas en las Islas Baleares, destacando los cambios metodológicos en las estrategias de intervención, la creciente desregulación de las prácticas de ordenación y el abuso de la tematización como medio para potenciar la singularidad de los destinos.",
