Findings indicate that massage significantly reduced systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rates and increased oxygen saturation in patients with congestive heart failure. There was a greater reduction in anxiety for male patients than female patients. There were significantly greater benefits to treatment for patients with the most severe health issues.
