This article poses Assange as a very angry and vindictive individual. It highlights very negative comments from him, and uses strong language to make him look extremely disgruntled and out for revenge. By further highlighting comments threatening bank leaders by his next set of releases, the story ends by emphasizing the fact that many leaders in the US consider him a “high-tech terrorist”.

Manning is the army official said to have been responsible for stealing confidential documents and providing them to Wikileaks publishers. Due to a shortage of intelligence analysts, the Senior Officers ignored the request because they required Manning’s skills. They decided that he would be put under disciplinary action on arrival in Iraq. However, due to some complexities, Manning was not being properly monitored and this has led to the close scrutiny being faced by the army. As a result, the officers in question may face the disciplinary repercussion.
Opinion: The officers in charge deserve to disciplined for not taking precautionary measures because they are responsible for ensuring the security of the American people. If they chose to send him to Iraq, they should have kept to their word by ensuring that Manning was being closely monitored.
A News cast video for the CBC discusses Wikileaks first real release related to the Canadian government:
Wikileaks publishes private documents pertaining to the release of the Omar Carter video where he was interrogated by officials. The document reveals how Americans where trying to gage Canadians' reaction to the video. Also, Jim George who is the former head of CICS criticizes the Canadian court for interfering with foreign intelligence work. However, he speaks well of Steven Harper, stating that he is \"taking it from the chin\".
Opinion: The released documents just reveals background conversations between the US and Canadian officials. It doesn't seem to contain any implicating information that may be detrimental to either party. Hence, this release is just informative and should pose no threat to the Canadian government.

Chen has denied being involved in Operation Payback. Chen has not yet been charged with any crime and he says it could be weeks or months before he knows anything about the investigation.

The cable, from 2008, was written before the Italian government started cracking down on gang-related crimes.
