            "abstractNote": "Es urgente un debate sobre cómo y cuándo acoger la minería. Hay sociedades que en ciertas circunstancias han preferido prescindir de la minería, cuando pone en riesgo valores, formas de vida y opciones de desarrollo. Esto habrá que respetarlo. Pero la proliferación del conflicto socio-ambiental demuestra que hoy los mecanismos de toma de decisiones podrán ser legales, pero son insuficientes. Un minería trasparente requiere nuevas formas de democracia participativa. Con todo, mientras los beneficios de la minería estén en duda, no habrá espacio para discutir los impactos y perjuicios inevitables, porque la minería limpia no existe.",
