            "abstractNote": "The contour blasting design for section II of the Levisa-Mayarí tunnel\nin the East-West transfer route was developed by implementing a\nnovel methodology, which is based on the properties of explosive\nsubstances and their effects on a rocky massif. The calculation was\ncompleted considering decoupling the detonating cord loads in the\ncontour drill holes and the Senatel MagnafracTM compact loads for the\ngroup of cut and stringline holes. The results were: a reduction of\nexcess excavations in the tunnel and obtaining a cross section close to\nthe mining area required for the project with associated significant\nsavings of time and resources.",
