mainly explored the degree to which older adults' social interactions in Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPGs) are associated with four socio-emotional factors. A total of 222 older World of Warcraft players, recruited online, completed a Web questionnaire. Consistent with the findings of the previous study, older adults' socio-emotional wellbeing was associated with the quality of guild play and enjoyment of relationship. Socio-emotional wellbeing was not associated with the amount of gameplay, intensity of interaction, network level and social motivation for playing MMORPGs. The first phase consisted of 4 weeks of gameplay with quantitative data collection using pretests and posttests; the second phase used postgame interviews of selected players to collect qualitative data. The results of this study showed significant improvement in players' scores for knowledge, social connectedness, and attitudes toward digital games from the pretest to the posttest. The interview data confirmed these increases and provided insights on the importance of learning, social connectedness, coplaying, and general enjoyment from playing a digital educational game. Five intergenerational pairs played two Wii games once a week for six weeks. Analyzing participants’ conversations during gameplay reveals that guided participation in the form of question-answer is the main way through which the two age groups can maintain shared focus and participate in the meaning-making process. Older adults play the roles of students, followers, and storytellers while younger people play the roles of teachers, leaders, encouragers, and caregivers during the game sessions. Past research has indicated benefits of storytelling for persons with dementia to include enhanced relationships and communication. The purpose of this research was to explore and understand digital storytelling as perceived and experienced by the storytellers themselves.Using a multi-site case study design, the study was conducted in Edmonton, and will continue in Vancouver and Toronto. This paper presents preliminary data collected in Edmonton, the first site to commence. The study involved participants with dementia in a seven-session workshop over the period of six weeks, where they created digital stories with the help of researchers and care partners. Participants then discussed the experience of meeting with researchers, sharing stories and using technology including digital media. Lastly, there was an opportunity for participants to share their digital stories with loved ones and the public.Data was collected through observational field notes and audio recorded workshop sessions and interviews. The recordings were transcribed and analyzed using NVivo 10 software and using a thematic analysis protocol.Findings showed that overall participants enjoyed the process of creating digital stories, despite some challenges with communication, memory and using technology. Findings also provided insight into the best practices for a digital storytelling workshop as expressed by the storytellers with dementia. Les données recueillies dans le dispositif révèlent que 4 773 choix d’outils d’aide ont été faits (par l’outil de dépistage dans 72 % des cas), 2 873 énoncés de difficultés ont été cochés, et deux questionnaires sur la dyscalculie ont présenté un résultat positif. Ces données laissent supposer que les étudiants ont apprécié ces outils qui leur ont permis de connaître leurs faiblesses et de mieux comprendre les notions de base en mathématiques.  ONLINE MULTIMEDIA TOOLS FOR LEARNING CONCEPTS IN MATHEMATICS  SAMI-Persévérance is an online device that offers help in postsecondary mathematics. Students can access help through the following tools: a keyword search, a concept map, or the math difficulties screening tool. Data collected from the device revealed that 4,773 tool selections were made (72% of the cases were proposed by the screening tool), 2,873 statements of difficulties were checked, and 2 dyscalculia questionnaires showed a positive result.
