Annotation: This book contains a trove of information about the Ivory Coast from recent history -- mostly from the early '60s to the mid-'90s. Most importantly, it has information about the first Ebola outbreak in the Ivory Coast during the late '70s. This will definitely help with my research because I would like to see and compare how their government dealt with the disease then and how they have to deal with it now. The book also includes information on the political, economic, social, and national institutions of the Ivory Coast. Of course, any historical and cultural information is important for my research as I don't really know that much about the country.
