In this prototype, the URC Target Kit (UTK) has been used as the URC framework implementation, deploying the framework in the same web server as the pre-existing web service. This\nthesis explores the use of user interface abstraction technologies to reach\nthe introduced goals. The main contributions of this thesis are: (i) an\napproach to enable the universally accessible remote control of the TV\nset, (ii) an approach for the provision of universally accessible interac-\ntive services through TV sets, and (iii) an approach for the provision of\nuniversally accessible services in the TV user’s real life context.
