Necesidad de las TIC en nuevo paradigma educativo

Este documento plantea como Desarrollo general de la educación Superior en América Latina y el Caribe (p.26), lo siguiente:

Para el caso, [paradigma  latinoamericano  y  caribeño  centrado  en  los  aprendizajes  y  en  un nuevo modelo de oferta académica innovador.] hay tres procesos que deben atenderse para alcanzar una ruptura con los esquemas tradicionales, reproductivistas y técnico-funcionales: (p.33)

-  La articulación curricular a partir de temas y problemas transversales y de promoción de valores. Este proceso implica la integración de múltiples ambientes de aprendizaje, desde los presenciales hasta los virtuales, que desplieguen todas las posibilidades de un individuo o de un grupo social para el aprendizaje de alto nivel.
-  La movilidad de estudiantes y académicos con base en programas flexibles. Este proceso conlleva cambios sustanciales en las organizaciones universitarias porque genera sistemas que conducen al máximo aprovechamiento del aprendizaje colectivo y de las redes.
-  El redimensionamiento de las disciplinas alrededor de campos de problemas y de las nuevas áreas del conocimiento moderno.
